Raju, Md Kaif impress with ball for Bengal in
Sr Men’s Inter State Multi-Day meet

Bowlers Raju Halder and Md Kaif impressive show was not enough as Bengal went down to Pondicherry by 73 runs in the Senior Men’s Inter State Multi-Day Tournament (Siechem Trophy) in Pondicherry on Thursday.
After bowling out Pondicherry for 256 in their first innings, Bengal scored 167.
Pondicherry, in their second innings, scored 108/9. Besides, Raju (4-20) and Md Kaif (3-16), Shreyan Chakraborty (2-45) also impressed with the ball.
Chasing a challenging target, Bengal were bowled out for 124. Saksham Chaudhary (32) top-scored for Bengal. Jayant Yadav bagged 5 wickets for Pondicherry.
