Rain washes out practice

15th November 2017
India and Sri Lanka were forced to call off their final practice session before the test match due to incessant rain overnight, as Eden Garden remains under cover.
With concentrated low pressure approaching Coastal Odisha, Kolkata will get light to moderate shower untill Friday, which might become the spoilsport for the opening test.
India were slated to train in morning, while Sri Lanka in the afternoon session. But both the teams chose to stay in the hotel. Later, both the skippers attended the press-conferences.
Since, the iconic venue is well-equipped, once the rain stops, the play can start within few hours. But weather forecast of first two days is certainly concerning.
According to Google Weather Forecast, Kolkata will receive rain around 6 mm rain tomorrow, while the chance of rain stands at 90 per cent.
