Riding on a superb bowling performance, Bengal reduced Mumbai to 224/7 in 70 overs at stumps on Day 1 in the All India Buchi Babu Invitational Cricket Tournament in Chennai on Friday.
Mukesh Kumar (2-54), Ishan Porel (2-33), Vishal Bhati (1-16), Saurabh Kr Singh (1-24) and Vikas Singh (1-41) were excellent with the ball for Bengal.
Suved Parkar (47) top-scored for Mumbai.
