900 girls take part in CAB
Uniform District Coaching Camp

With an aim to nurture young talent and take women’s cricket in Bengal to new heights, The Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) has begun the Uniform District Coaching Programme 2025-2026 with 900 young girls from two age-groups across 18 districts.
The two age-groups, Under-14 and U-18, comprising 25 girls each, will undergo training in the seven-day camp starting today in the 18 districts.
The girls will be trained under the watchful eyes of experienced and skilled CAB coaches.
Sujata Sinha will be guiding the Cooch Behar squad, while Jalpaiguri players will train under Moumita Das. In Siliguri, Uddipan Mukherjee will mentor the team, and Uttar Dinajpur will be shaped by Olivia Sen.
Dakshin Dinajpur has Trisha Bera leading the way while Malda is under Swapna Roy, and Murshidabad is being coached by Ranjana Yadav.
Bankura’s camp is powered by Rinku Ghoshal, with Birbhum under Neha Maji’s watch. Nadia girls are working with Sankha Subhra Karmakar while Burdwan players are with Kalpana Sarkar.
Chandernagore girls are taken care of by Dipali Shaw and Hooghly district by Jayashree Singha Roy. Midnapore’s talents are being nurtured by Pamela Dhar, Howrah by Gitimoy Basu, North 24 Parganas by Arup Tripathi, and South 24 Parganas by Sumona Roy Chowdhury. Completing the lineup is Shyam Nandan Prasad, who is looking after the Manbhum district girls.
