Moments from the Vision 2028 camp for Bengal Senior women’s and Under-23 women’s teams held at the Eden Gardens Indoor Facility on Monday. The senior and U-23 girls were guided by Bengal’s Manoj Tiwary at the batting department, the bowling department was guided by former India pacer Venkatesh Prasad along with Bengal’s Ashok Dinda and spin bowling was taken care of by former India spinner Narendra Hirwani. Also present for the session were Bengal U-23 women’s team head coach Rumeli Dhar and coach Arpita Ghosh and Senior Women’s coach Ananya Mitra.
After a pep talk from the coaches, the batters and bowlers took their stance and began training. As the session went on, the coaches talked to the talents individually on how to better their bowling and batting skills. Also present for the session were former women cricketers and selectors Lopamudra Banerjee, Gargi Banerjee, Keya Ray, Runa Basu, Mithu Mukherjee and Purnima Chowdhury.
