VISION 2028 SIXTH PHASE BEGINS

The sixth phase of Vision 2028 got underway today at the Eden Gardens Indoor Facility, with the Bengal men’s Under-16 and women’s Under-15 and Under-19 players attending the camps.
The bowling department for Vision 2028 is guided by former India pacer Venkatesh Prasad along with Bengal’s Ashok Dinda. Also present for the camp to guide the youngsters were coaches Ajay Verma and Dattatreya Mukherjee along with coaches of various age-groups and support staffs.
The opening day’s session began with Prasad delivering inspirational and motivation words to the young boys and girls. Prasad told the youngsters to use the camp as a learning experience, also adding that all the players must carry forward their fine performance from the last season to the upcoming BCCI domestic season as well.
After the pep talk, both the boys and girls began their warm-ups prior to the net session.
Next up, the batters took their stance at the crease and the bowlers prepared for their run-up by practicing their bowling action. The coaches looked at the proceedings with hawk eyes. As the session went on, the coaches talked to the talents individually on how to better their bowling and batting skills.
