Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers seal successive
final spot in women’s Bengal Pro T20 League

Defending champions Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers stormed into their second successive final with a thrilling four-run victory over Murshidabad Kueens in the first women’s semifinal of the Bengal Pro T20 League Season 2 at the JU 2nd Campus, Salt Lake, on Friday.
Mita Paul (45 off 37, 1-19) was awarded the player of the match for her brilliant all-round show for Kolkata Tigers.
Put into bat after the match was reduced to 18-overs-a-side, Kolkata Tigers posted 114/6 in the allotted overs. Besides Mita, Ankita Mahato (37) also impressed with the bat.
Jahanvi Paswan (2-22) and Sushmita Ganguly (1-16) stood out with the ball for Murshidabad Kueens.
In reply, despite fighting knocks by Trishita Sarkar (49) and Tanushree Sarkar (20), Murshidabad fell short, scoring 110/5 in 18 overs.
Besides Mita, Monika Mal (1-23) and Priti Mahata (1-23) were clinical with the ball for Kolkata Tigers.
