A brilliant effort with the ball powered Murshidabad Kueens to a comfortable nine-wicket victory over Rashmi Medinipur Wizards in the women’s competition of the Bengal Pro T20 League Season 2 at the JU, 2nd Campus, Salt Lake on Monday.
Jahanvi Paswan (16 not out, 2-17) was awarded the player of the match for her superb all-round show for Murshidabad.
Batting first, Rashmi Medinipur Wizards managed only 66/8 in 19.2 overs when rain stopped play.
Besides Jahanvi, Namrata Chandra (2-14) and Sushmita Ganguly (1-9) were the star bowlers for Murshidabad.
Chasing a revised target of 34 in 8 overs, Murshidabad went over the line scoring 34/1 in 5.2 overs.
