A superb all-round performance powered Servotech Siliguri Strikers to a comfortable five-wicket victory over Harbour Diamonds in the Bengal Pro T20 League Season 2 at the Eden Gardens on Saturday.
With win, Siliguri climb to third spot while Harbour remain in the second place in the points table.
Batting first, Harbour Diamonds managed to post 142/8 in 20 overs. Manoj Tiwary led from the front with a fine 35 off 23 while Vishal Bhati (34 off 28) also impressed.
Raju Halder (3-17) and Nuruddin Mondal (3-30) were the pick of the Siliguri bowlers.
Chasing the target, Servotech Siliguri Strikers went over the line easily, scoring 144/5 in 17.5 overs.
Lokesh Gait (42 off 30), Anustup Majumdar (32 off 33), Ankush Tyagi (29 off 21) and Subham Chatterjee (26 not out off 18) made vital contributions for Siliguri.
Harbour Diamonds’ Vishal bagged 2 for 22.
