Tigers’ victory in women’s league

A brilliant all-round performance powered Shrachi Rarh Tigers to a comfortable six-wicket victory over Adamas Howrah Warriors in the women’s competition of the Bengal Pro T20 League Season 2 at the JU, 2nd Campus, Salt Lake on Friday.
Bidisha Dey (25, 4-13) was awarded the player of the match for her superb show with both bat and ball for Shrachi Rarh Tigers.
Batting first after the match was reduced to 15-overs-a-side, Adamas Howrah Warriors managed only 66/8 in the allotted overs. Dyuti Paul top-scored with 19 runs.
In reply, Shrachi Rarh Tigers went over the line comfortably scoring 68/4 in 12.4 overs. Piyali Ghosh scored an unbeaten 30 off 28.
Tapati Paul and Aradhya Kumari Tiwary bagged 2 wickets each for Adamas Howrah Warriors.
