A brilliant batting effort powered Murshidabad Kings to a comfortable five-wicket victory over Shrachi Rarh Tigers in the Bengal Pro T20 League Season 2 at Eden Gardens on Sunday.
Rishabh Chaudhary (50 off 35) and Toufik Uddin Mondal (42 not out off 37) were the pick of the batters for Murshidabad Kings in the run chase.
Put into bat, Shrachi Rarh Tigers managed to post 150/6 in 20 overs, thanks to a fine 78 off 54 balls by Kazi Junaid Saifi.
Saksham Chaudhary, Vikas Singh and Sukhmeet Singh bagged 2 wickets each.
In reply, Murshidabad Kings chased the target down scoring 151/5 in 18.4 overs.
Ravi Kumar, Pritam Chakrabarty, Shahbaz Ahmed and Ashutosh Kumar bagged a wicket each for Shrachi Rarh Tigers.
