Rashmi Medinipur Wizards were consistent in both the men’s and women’s competitions, finishing as semifinalists in both categories in the inaugural season. While the men lost to Murshidabad Kings in the semifinals, the Women’s team went down to Murshidabad Kueens.
Men’s Team: Rashmi Medinipur Wizards will rely heavily on the Sudip Chatterjee. Sudip will look to bring all his experience into play to take his team to glory. Besides Sudip, Ritwik Roy Chowdhury, Ranjot Singh Khaira, Vivek Singh, Priyanshu Srivastava will be the ones to watch out for. After finishing as semifinalists last year, the team will aim to go one step further and then bag the title.
Women’s Team: The hard-hitting wicket-keeper batter Richa Ghosh will be the one player the team will look up to. Richa’s aggressive batting will surely pose a threat to the opposition. Besides Richa, Sasthi Mondal, Chandrima Biswas, Ipshita Mondal, Toriya Singha Roy make a strong team.
