Sobisco Smashers Malda bank on Mukesh, Hrishita

Sobisco Smashers Malda, who finished as joint-winners in the men’s competition last year, will aim to go one step further this season and bag the crown. In the women’s competition, the team will look to put up a better show this time after failing to make the semifinals in the inaugural season.
Men’s Team: The team will rely on star India fast bowler Mukesh Kumar. His experience and skills will surely be vital for team’s chances. The team was consistent in last year, displaying some outstanding performances. Besides Mukesh, Writtick Chatterjee, Avilin Ghosh, Gitimoy Basu, Sumit Mohanta will be the ones to watch out for.
Women’s Team: The team will look up to star wicket-keeper batter Hrishita Basu to deliver for them. After missing out on the knockouts last year, the team will give it their all to seal at least a semis spot. Besides Hrishita, the team will rely on other players Jhumia Khatun, Sushmita Paul, Sukanya Parida, Mamta Kisku.
