star in Junior Under-18 Invitation meet

In the Junior Under-18 Invitation Tournament Quarterfinal matches on Wednesday, Amateur Cricket Club, Mauri Sporting Club, Vijay Sports Club, Bantra Cricket Club bagged wins to enter the semifinals.
In the first match, Vijay Sports Club beat Kumartuli Institute by 3 wickets in at JU (Salt Lake). Kumartuli Institute scored 163, thanks to Sayan Paul (94). Sarvjeet Bittu (3-8), Sayan Paul (3-34), Aman Kumar (3-39) impressed with the ball. In reply, Vijay Sports Club scored 167/7. Subhadeep Patra scored 71. Bashab Ghosh and Md Hadis bagged 2 wickets each.
In other matches, Bantra Cricket Club beat Kalighat Club by 8 wickets at the 22 Yards. Kalighat scored 148/6, thanks to Sayonik Ahmed (32) and Soham Mal (32 not out). Sourav Poddar and Arpan Aich bagged 2 wickets each. In reply, Bantra Cricket Club scored 149/2, thanks to Snehasish Roy (53 not out).
Amateur Cricket Club won by spin of coin against Barisha Sporting Club at Tala Park Ground.
Mauri Sporting Club won by spin of coin against Aurora Athletic Association at University Ground.
