in Dattu Phadkar Under-15 meet

In the Dattu Phadkar Under-15 Tournament Pre-Quarterfinal matches on Tuesday, Purba Barasat Adarsha Vidyapith and Chanchal Siddeswari Institute bagged victories to enter the quarterfinals.
In the first match, Purba Barasat Adarsha Vidyapith beat Jiaganj Raja Bijoy Singh Vidyamandir by 7 wickets. Batting first, Jiaganj Raja Bijoy Singh Vidyamandir were bundled out for 73 in 24.4 overs. Argha Das was superb with the ball bagging 5 for 18. In reply, Purba Barasat Adarsha Vidyapith scored 74/3 in 20.5 overs. Sougata Roy top-scored with unbeaten 19.
In the second match, Chanchal Siddeswari Institute beat JL Vidyabhaban Rampurhat by 2 wickets. JL Vidyabhaban Rampurhat were bundled out for 61 in 22 overs. Souvik Saha (4-12) and Iftikhar Ahamed (3-17) were superb with the ball. In reply, Chanchal Siddeswari Institute scored 62/8 in 17.4 overs. Md Jubayed top-scored with 16 runs. Ekbal Sk and Srijon Saha bagged 3 wickets each.
