Getting the feel: Players train with
pink ball before Mayor’s Cup final

Prior to the Inter School Under-15 Cricket Tournament Mayor’s Cup final on Wednesday, the players of both teams got to opportunity to familiarize themselves with the pink ball.
Both the finalists, St Johns Public School and Cathedral Mission High School, got the feel of the pink ball and underwent a two-hour long practice session on Tuesday at the JU 2nd Campus Ground, Salt Lake ahead of the summit clash.
The players got a feel of the pink ball’s grip, bounce, and swing. Both the team’s bowlers and batsmen strategized their approach.
The final will be played across two days with each team being allotted 85 overs.
