Bagan vs Bhowanipur in J.C Mukherjee T20 semis

Town Club will face Kalighat Club while Mohun Bagan AC will be up against Bhowanipur Club in the semifinals of the J.C Mukherjee T20 Tournament after the four teams bagged wins in their respective quarterfinal matches on Saturday.
In the first quarterfinal, Kalighat Club beat Tapan Memorial Club by 7 wickets. Batting first, Tapan Memorial Club scored 172/5 in 20 overs. Ankush Tyagi (62 not out off 32) and Ayush Das (42 off 24) impressed. Sujit Kumar Yadav bagged 2 for 18.
In reply, Kalighat Club chased it down scoring 174/3 in 17.2 overs, thanks to Writam Porel (54 off 29), Subham Chatterjee (52 off 34), Sayan Sekhar Mandal (23 not out off 17) and Pramod Chandila (29 not out off 20).
In the second match, Town Club beat Barisha Sporting Club by 3 wickets. Batting first, Barisha Sporting Club scored 184/2 in 20 overs, thanks to Ayush Kumar Singh (79 off 60), Karan Lal (45 off 32) and Priyanshu Srivastava (37 not out off 22). Geet Puri and Mithilesh Das bagged one wicket each.
In reply, Town Club chased down the target scoring 185/7 in 19.2 overs. Yuvraj Deepak Keswani (67 off 43), Avirup Gupta (23 off 14), Subham Sarkar (20 not out off 12) were the pick of the batters. Ronit Ghosh, Sumanta Gupta and Ayush Kumar Singh bagged 2 wickets each.
In the third match, Mohun Bagan beat East Bengal by 9 runs. Batting first, Mohun Bagan scored 153 in 19.2 overs. Sourav Halder (40) and Ranjot Singh Khaira (31) were the pick of the batsmen. Kanishk Seth was impressive bagging 4 for 26.
In reply, East Bengal fell short scoring 144/9 in 20 overs. Abhishek Das top-scored with 34 runs. Anurag Tiwari, Pradeep Kumar and S Yadav bagged 2 wickets each.
In the fourth match, Bhowanipur Club beat Kidderpore Sporting Club by 7 wickets. Batting first, Kidderpore Sporting Club managed to score only 105/8 in 20 overs. Samik Karmakar top-scored with 34 runs. Rajkumar Pal, Deepak Kumar, Pradipta Pramanik and Jesal Karia bagged 2 wickets each.
In reply, Bhowanipur Club went over the line scoring 109/3 in 13.2 overs. Shakir Habib Gandhi (57), Jayojit Basu (24) and Aamir Gani (20 not out) impressed with the bat.
