In the CAB Women’s Club Cricket League T20 Tournament on Friday, both the bowlers and batters dominated.
In the first match, Bhowanipur Club beat Wari Athletic Club by 7 wickets. Wari Athletic Club managed to score 94/8 in 20 overs. Chinky (3-17) and Sanjana Kumari Das (2-21) impressed. In reply, Bhowanipur Club scored 95/3 in 17.1 overs. Rupal Patra scored an unbeaten 41.
In other matches, Md Sporting Club beat Ariadaha Sporting Club by 4 wickets. Ariadaha Sporting Club managed to score 94/9 in 20 overs. Piyali Ghosh and Debalina Bhattacharya bagged 3 wickets each. In reply, Md Sporting Club scored 98/6 in 18.2 overs, thanks to Mita Paul (35 not out). Nikita bagged 2 for 20.
East Bengal Club beat Barisha Sporting Club by 27 runs. Prativa Rana (32) and Priyanka Sarkar (23) helped East Bengal Club post 114/8 in 20 overs. Moitri Bhattacharjee (3-17) and Jahanvi Paswan (2-17) impressed. Barisha Sporting Club scored only 87/6 in 20 overs. Ananya Haldar and Priyanka Sarkar bagged 2 wickets each.
