In the CAB Women’s Club Cricket League One-Day Tournament matches on Monday, both the bowlers and batters impressed.
In the first match, Swastika Kundu (5-23), Ankita Barman (63) helped Kalighat Club beat Md Sporting Club by 7 wickets. Md Sporting Club scored 109. Kalighat Club scored 110/3.
In other matches, Dhara Gujjar (66, 3-33) helped Rajasthan Club beat Barisha Sporting Club by 63 runs. Rajasthan Club scored 243. Rupa Dutta and Smriti Bar bagged 3 wickets. Barisha Sporting Club scored 180.
Saika Ishaque (4-18), Zoya Laskar (3-25), Ritu Gayen (33) helped Wari Athletic Club beat Salkia Friends Association by 4 wickets. Salkia Friends Association scored 119. Nikhisha Hazra scored 54. Wari Athletic Club scored 120/6. Sonali Das bagged 3 wickets.
Ankita Chakraborty (76), Sneha Gupta (70), Rupal Tiwari (4-23) helped Mohun Bagan beat Calcutta Police Club by 199 runs. Mohun Bagan Club scored 317/4. Calcutta Police Club scored 118.
Priyanka Bala (49), Priyanka Goldar (47), Sujata Dey (47), Tanushree Sarkar (2-10), Sushmita Ganguly (2-20) helped Aryan Club beat Bhowanipur Club by 130 runs. Aryan Club scored 249/7. Bhowanipur Club scored 119/8.
Mamani Roy (1-15, 26), Prativa Rana (30), Priyanka Sarkar (2-7) and Bidisha Dey (2-11) helped East Bengal Club beat Town Club by 8 wickets. Town Club scored just 99. East Bengal scored 100/2.
