Suburban Club enter final of Second Div League

In the CAB Second Division Championship semifinal match on Friday, Suburban Club beat Vijay Sports Club by 6 wickets to enter the final.
At the YMCA ground, batting first, Vijay Sports Club posted 246. Monomit Mitra (4-97) and Sarit Datta (3-61) impressed with the ball.
Chasing a revised target of 120 in 41 overs, Suburban Club went over the line scoring 123/4 in 31.3 overs. Gautam Verma scored unbeaten 65. Saikat Bala and Sumit Das bagged 2 wickets each.
In the second semifinal at the Rangers ground, rain played spoilsport on the second day. Cricket Club of Bhowanipur posted 346 at stumps on Day 1 against Behala Friends Union Club.
