rain-hit First Div quarterfinal Day 1

In the CAB First Division Championship Quarterfinal matches, rain played spoilsport for most of the opening day’s play on Friday.
At the Aditya Academy Barasat, Town Club scored 118/4 in 36.2 overs at stumps. Yuvraj Deepak Keswani (44 not out) top-scored for his side. For Kalighat Club, Pritam Chakrabarty and Arun Chaprana bagged 2 wickets each.
At BCA Kalyani, Mohun Bagan AC reached 80/2 in 18 overs at stumps. Ranjot Singh Khaira top-scored with unbeaten 46. For Md Sporting Club, Vaibhav Yadav bagged 2 wickets.
The match between Shambazar Club vs East Bengal Club at Deshbandhu Park Ground and Bhowanipur Club vs Barisha Sporting Club at Videocon Ground was called off for the day.
