Akshay (132), Monomit (4-97) impress
in Second Div League semifinals

In the CAB Second Division Championship semifinal matches on Thursday, both the bowlers and batters dominated on Day 1.
In the first match, Akshay Chauhan (132), Soumya Ghosh (66), Sanjit Sardar (66) batted superbly as Cricket Club of Bhowanipur posted 346 at stumps. For Behala Friends Union Club, Asish Bera and Sandipan Dey bagged 3 wickets each.
In the second match, Rehan Mondal (48), Rohan Saha (47) helped Vijay Sports Club post 246. Monomit Mitra (4-97) and Sarit Datta (3-61) impressed with the ball. In reply, Suburban Club were 36/2 at stumps. Saikat Bala bagged 2 wickets.
