In the Inter District Under-18 two-day Round Two matches on Wednesday, both the bowlers and batters dominated on Day 1.
In the first match, Ankush Chakrabarty (5-42), Sasanka Das (77), Swastik Maiti (68) helped Midnapore DSA beat Jalpaiguri DSA by 25 runs. Midnapore DSA scored 190. Shibam Kumar Saha (6-82) impressed. In reply, Jalpaiguri DSA scored 165. Tapabrata Guha scored 72.
In other matches, Shirsendu Maity (84), Aditya Roy (53) helped South 24-PGS DSA post 272 at stumps. For North 24-PGS DSA, Akshit Pandey and Archish Biswas bagged 3 wickets each.
