In the CAB Women’s Club Cricket League T20 Tournament qualifying matches on Tuesday, both the bowlers and batters dominated.
In the first match, Shreya Dutta (58) helped Ariadaha Sporting Club beat YMCA (Coll BR) by 8 runs. Ariadaha Sporting Club scored 130/6. YMCA (Coll BR) scored 122/6. Sanchita Adhikary (54, 2-21) impressed.
In other matches, Gitangshi Das (41), Koushiki Ghosh (2-16), Mukta Roy (2-20) helped Amateur Cricket Club beat Victoria Sporting Club by 7 wickets. Victoria Sporting Club scored 91/7. Amateur Cricket Club scored 92/3. Merina Roy bagged 3 for 15.
Sonali Das (30, 1-23), Ankita Sarkar (32) helped Salkia Friends Association beat Central Calcutta Sporting Club by 5 wickets. Central Calcutta Sporting Club scored 117/5, thanks to Aratrika Dey (50). Salkia Friends Association scored 120/5.
Ashmita Das (2-18, 16 not out) helped Calcutta Police Club beat Gymkhana by 7 wickets. Gymkhana scored 84/7. Calcutta Police Club scored 85/3.
