Monomit (6-41), Subhadip (82), Amit (4-33) star in Second Div quarterfinals

In the CAB Second Division League quarterfinal encounters on Wednesday, the bowlers dominated the batters on Day 2.
In the first match, Monomit Mitra (6-41), Alok Sharma (3-25, 58) helped Suburban Club beat Star Sporting Club by 127 runs. Suburban Club scored 224. Star Sporting Club were bundled out for just 97.
In other matches, Subhadip Barman (82), Manish Singh Rawat (67), Sandipan Dey (53) helped Behala Friends Union Club beat White Border Club by 5 wickets. White Border Club posted 273. In reply, Behala Friends Union Club scored 279/5.
Amit Banerjee (4-33) was the pick of the bowlers as Cricket Club of Bhowanipur beat Calcutta Cricket Club by 110 runs. Cricket Club of Bhowanipur scored 265. Calcutta Cricket Club scored 155. Purab Joshi scored 62.
Sumit Das (3-42), Rohan Saha (3-25) helped Vijay Sports Club beat Balak Sangha by 120 runs. Vijay Sports Club posted 271. Balak Sangha scored just 151.
