In the CAB First Division League Qualifier Round encounters on Wednesday, both the bowlers and batters impressed on Day 2.
In the first match, Arkadipta Mandal scored a brilliant 104 as Ballygunge United Club beat Netaji Subhas Institute by 7 wickets. Netaji Subhas Institute scored 210. In reply, Ballygunge United Club scored 211/3.
In other matches, Kunal Kumar (5-42), Meghbaran Roy (3-50) helped Shambazar Club beat Kumartuli Institute by 27 runs. Shambazar Club posted 246. Kumartuli Institute scored 219. Biraj Malo scored 64.
Kevin Almeida (36), Uddipan Mukherjee (34 not out) helped Aryan Club beat Anandabazar Patrika Sports Club by 6 wickets. Anandabazar Patrika Sports Club scored 195. In reply, Aryan Club scored 199/4.
