In the CAB First Division League Qualifier Round encounters on Tuesday, the bowlers dominated the batters on Day 1.
In the first match, Harsh Dev Gautam (4-28), Vishal Kr Roy (3-21), Aditya Roy (68), Ashwin Sharma (52) helped Rajasthan Club beat Kolkata Union Sporting Club by 10 wickets. Kolkata Union Sporting Club were bundled out for 124. In reply, Rajasthan Club scored 125 for no loss.
In other matches, Giriraj Vyas (4-41), Golam Mustafa (3-37), Pintu (2-43) helped Aryan Club bowl out Anandabazar Patrika Sports Club for 195. Shaheed Marandi scored 42. In reply, Aryan Club were 49/1 at stumps.
Priyanshu Gautam (4-79), Soutrik Das (3-37), Sudhanshu Srivastava (2-52) helped Ballygunge United Club bowl out Netaji Subhas Institute for 210. Aritra Ghosh scored 54. In reply, Ballygunge United Club were 22/1 at stumps.
Abhijit Mal (88), Soham Ghosh (46) helped Shambazar Club post 231/8 at stumps. For Kumartuli Institute, Anish Dutta, Pawan and Vivek Kumar Singh bagged 2 wickets each.
