In the CAB Second Division League encounters on Tuesday, both the batters and bowlers dominated on Day 2.
In the Qualifier Round matches, Rohit Das (3-35), Jai Kishor Yadav (3-40), Mayank Lakhmani (198) and Sanjay Nishad (103 not out) helped Friends Sporting Union beat George Telegraph Sports Club by 207 runs. Friends Sporting Union scored 449/5. George Telegraph Sports Club scored 242. Nikhil Sinha scored 73.
Souvik Dutta (67), Satender Singh (65) helped Howrah Union beat Cricket Club of Dhakuria by 1 wicket. Cricket Club of Dhakuria posted 315. Howrah Union scored 317/9. Kaushar Ansari and Joydeep Roy bagged 3 wickets each.
Ashish Kumar (3-77), Ansh Pandey (3-85), Tarun Verma (133) helped South Suburban Club beat Sarat Samity by 112 runs. South Suburban Club posted 370/9. Sarat Samity scored 258.
