IPL 2025 begins with glamorous
opening ceremony at Eden Gardens

The much-awaited IPL 2025 season got underway with a glittering and star-studded opening ceremony at the iconic Eden Gardens on Saturday.
Shah Rukh Khan led the celebrations with Shreya Ghoshal, Disha Patani and Karan Aujla setting the tone for an unforgettable evening as the opening ceremony brought together magic of dance, music and cricket.
The balloon release, drone show and fireworks also added glamour to the ceremony.
The evening also saw CAB President Snehasish Ganguly felicitating ICC Chair Mr. Jay Shah, BCCI vice-president Rajeev Shukla, BCCI Hony secretary Devajit Saikia and IPL Chairman Arun Singh Dhumal.
The match between KKR and RCB was also a thrilling one with the visitors winning the match by 7 wickets.
