(5-10) impress in First Div League two-day meet

In the CAB First Division League Group B & C two-day encounters on Wednesday, both the bowlers and batsmen dominated on Day 1.
In the first match, Avijit Mondal smashed a brilliant 171 as Dakshin Kalikata Sansad posted 272. Saikat Hansda (3-34), Rohit Dua (3-82) and Ashutosh Kumar (2-60) impressed with the ball. In reply, Aikya Sammilani were 12/0 at stumps.
In other matches, Rohit bagged 6 for 50 as Ballygunge United Club beat Belgachia United Club by 9 wickets. Belgachia United Club were bundled out for 149. Arijit Goswami scored 60. In reply, Ballygunge United Club scored 150/1, thanks to Swarnave Ghosal (79 not out) and Subham Singh (40 not out).
Mrityunjay Yadav (100 not out), Anshuman Pandey (73) and Aditya Singh (71) helped Bhukailash Sporting Club post 437/8 at stumps. For Kolkata Union Sporting Club, Kaif Abbas bagged 5 for 141.
Sayak Basu (5-10), Debtanu Baidya (3-46), Anish Prasad (2-30), Sanjeev Goswami (51) helped Police Athletic Club beat Aryan Club by 7 wickets. Aryan Club were bundled out for 123. In reply, Police Athletic Club scored 125/3.
Narayan Rana (5-74), Lokesh (4-78) impressed with the ball for Shibpur Institute. Biraj Malo (67) and Rashid Khan (48) helped Kumartuli Institute post 224. In reply, Shibpur Institute were 144/8 at stumps. Sayan Paul bagged 5 for 28. Anuj Kumar Singh scored 47.
Deepanshu Chaudhary (98), Chandan Singh (42), Ravi Singh (41) helped E.Rly.Sports Association post 253. Agastya Agarwal bagged an impressive 5 for 63. Tollygunge Agragami were 147/4 at stumps. Navneet Kumar Singh scored an unbeaten 50. Swapnil Choudhary bagged 3 wickets.
Shivam Dixit (4-54), Gaurav Kumar (3-43), Dipak Shaw (2-22) helped YMCA (College Branch) bowl out BNR Recreation Club for 145. Mohit Roy scored 43. YMCA (College Branch) were 84/1 at stumps.
