(6-57) star in First Div League two-day meet

In the CAB First Division League Group C two-day encounters on Sunday, both the bowlers and batsmen dominated on Day 1.
In the first match, Rahul Kundu smashed a brilliant 262 off just 153 balls while Sukriti Jana (78 not out) and Sunil Dalal (71) also impressed as Dalhousie Athletic Club posted 536/8 at stumps. For Netaji Subhas Institute, Raju Halder bagged 4 for 156.
In other matches, Rohit Ram (116), Aakash Singh (102) helped Calcutta Port Trust Sports Club post 349. Amit Singh (6-57) impressed with the ball. Indian Boys Athletic Club were 9/3 at stumps. Rahul bagged 2 wickets.
Vishal Bhati (5-32, 46), Arnab Paul (3-33), Shivansh Kapoor (47) helped Monohar Pukur Milan Samity beat Calcutta Police Club by 8 wickets. Calcutta Police Club scored 124. In reply, Monohar Pukur Milan Samity scored 128/2.
Vishal Kr Roy (5-69), Harsh Dev Gautam (5-80), Aditya Roy (79), Ashwin Sharma (58) helped Rajasthan Club beat BNR Recreation Club by 9 wickets. BNR Recreation Club scored 163. Rajasthan Club scored 165/1.
Tanay Bag (74), Anuj Pal (64 not out), Rahul Chowdhary (62) helped Anandabazar Patrika Sports Club post 342 at stumps. For Uttarpalli Milan Sangha, Saurabh Tripathi and Saumya Pakray bagged 3 wickets each.
Avinash Yadav (4-57), Shivamm Bharati (3-40), Soham Ghosh (2-30) helped Shambazar Club bowl out YMCA (College Branch) for 178. Bharat Naidu scored 45. In reply, Shambazar Club were 86/0 at stumps, thanks to Aditya Varma (36 not out) and Abhijit Mal (33 not out).
