Souvik (100), Rajesh (6-19), Binoy (6-50) impress in Second Div League

In the CAB Second Division League two-day encounters on Sunday, both the bowlers and batters impressed on Day 1.
In the first match, Souvik Dutta (100), Satender Singh (79), Sharvil Pandit (65 not out), Akshat Verma (57) and Raja Khan (50) helped Howrah Union post 451/9. Aditya Dutta bagged 5 for 157. In reply, Bani Niketan Sports Club were 5/0 at stumps.
In other matches, Rajesh Yadav (6-19), Samarjeet Singh (52) helped Ariadaha Sporting Club beat Satya Sandhi by 9 wickets. Satya Sandhi scored just 106. In reply, Ariadaha Sporting Club scored 108/1.
Binoy Tirkey (6-50) helped Friends Sporting Union bowl out Victoria Sporting Club for 174. Ibrahim scored 47. In reply, Friends Sporting Union scored 71/4 at stumps.
Sachin Yadav (80), Adreet Das (65) helped Amateur Cricket Club post 299. Meetul Sah (5-111) and Triparna Samanta (3-86) impressed with the ball. In reply, Sarat Samity scored 38/0 at stumps.
Raayan Nadeem (3-37), Ajay Yadav (3-28), Dhirendra Pandey (3-31) helped Calcutta University Institute bowl out Abasar for 149. In reply, Calcutta University Institute scored 100/7. Pratyush Kr Singh scored 35. Isolt Roy bagged 4 wickets.
