Mohun Bagan, East Bengal enter P. Sen Invitational semis

In the P. Sen Memorial Invitational Tournament on Thursday, both the batters and bowlers impressed.
In the first quarterfinal, Anmolpreet Singh (101), Sayan Ghosh (5-50), Sudip Kumar Gharami (77) helped Mohun Bagan AC beat CAB President XI by 49 runs.
Batting first, Mohun Bagan posted 293/7 in 50 overs. Sandipan and Saksham Chaudhary bagged 2 wickets each. In reply, CAB President XI scored 244. Saksham (71) and Vishal Bhati (69) impressed.
In the second quarterfinal, Ankit Kumar (70), Writtick Chatterjee (3-18), Vikas Singh (3-20), Kanishk Seth (3-28) helped East Bengal Club beat CAB District XI by 7 wickets.
CAB District XI were bundled out for 121 in 30.5 overs. In reply, East Bengal scored 122/3.
