Sudip (113), Dev (110), Toufik (66, 3-47), Manisankar (2-35, 37) impress in P. Sen Invitational meet

In the opening day of P. Sen Memorial Invitational Tournament on Wednesday, both the batters and bowlers impressed.
In the first match, riding on brilliant performances by Sudip Chatterjee (113), Dev Lakra (110, 2-19) Toufik Uddin Mondal (66, 3-47) and Lalit Yadav (3-29), Md Sporting Club defeated B.N.R Recreation Club by 245 runs.
Md Sporting Club scored 443/5 in 50 overs. In reply, B.N.R Recreation Club scored 198 in 32.1 overs. Deepak Kr Mahato scored 60.
In the second match, Upendra Yadav (51), Arun Chaprana (3-26), Kaushik Maity (3-43), Manisankar Murasingh (2-35, 37) helped Kalighat Club beat Tapan Memorial Club by 2 wickets.
Gaurav Chauhan (50), Dheeru Singh (49) helped Tapan Memorial Club post 213. In reply, Kalighat Club scored 217/8. Rishabh Vivek and Ramesh Prasad bagged 2 wickets each.
