Sonu (5-75), Narayan (5-85), Bharat (95) star in First Div League two-day meet

In the CAB First Division League Group B two-day encounters on Wednesday, both the bowlers and batsmen dominated.
In the first match, Sonu Himanshu (5-75), Sougata Dutta (3-78), Avijit Mondal (137), Karan Singh (108) helped Dakshin Kalikata Sansad beat Kumartuli Institute by 29 runs. Dakshin Kalikata Sansad posted 310. Kumartuli Institute scored 281. Pawan scored a fine 123.
In other matches, Narayan Rana (5-85), Lokesh (4-78) helped Shibpur Institute beat Bhukailash Sporting Club by 30 runs. Shibpur Institute posted 236. In reply, Bhukailash Sporting Club scored 206. Abhishek Yadav scored 74.
Bharat Naidu (95), Raunak Singh (62) helped YMCA (College Branch) post 278. Siddharth Ghosh, Aakash Das, Dibyanshu Kumar Singh bagged 2 wickets each. In reply, Dalhousie Athletic Club were 16/2 at stumps on Day 1.
Dipayan Raha (3-19), Rohit Kumar (3-44) helped Belgachia United Club beat E.Rly.Sports Association by 177 runs. Belgachia United Club posted 288. E.Rly.Sports Association scored just 111.
Vivek Singh (64 not out), Kaif Abbas (5-56) helped Kolkata Union Sporting Club beat Tollygunge Agragami by 6 wickets. Tollygunge Agragami scored 173. Kolkata Union Sporting Club scored 177/4.
Arjun Singh (50 not out), Rahul Prasad (4-89) helped Aikya Sammilani beat Paikpara Sporting Club by 3 wickets. Paikpara Sporting Club scored 191. In reply, Aikya Sammilani scored 196/7.
