Abhro (166), Saurabh (117), Rajarshi (5-48), Dipayan (96) star in First Div League two-day meet

In the CAB First Division League Group B two-day encounters on Wednesday, both the bowlers and batsmen dominated on Day 1.
In the first match, Abhro Das scored a brilliant unbeaten 166 as Paikpara Sporting Club posted 287/9. Kumartuli Institute’s Sayan Paul bagged 4 for 96 while Anish Dutta claimed 3 for 38.
In other matches, Saurabh Srivastav (117), Anshuman Pandey (89) helped Bhukailash Sporting Club post 357/7. Dakshin Kalikata Sansad’s Ayan Dubey was the pick of the bowler bagging 3 for 63.
Aryan Club’s Rajarshi Mitra bagged 5 for 48 as Ballygunge United Club were bundled out for 171. Swarnave Ghosal scored 63. In reply, Aryan Club were 68/4 at stumps. Priyanshu Gautam and Swarnave bagged 2 wickets each.
Dipayan Raha (96 not out), Yuvraj Gupta (94), Shivam Singh (56 not out) helped Belgachia United Club post 336/5 at stumps. Kaif Abbas and Sumit Rajak bagged 2 wickets each for Kolkata Union Sporting Club.
Debtanu Baidya (4-53), Pratik Ranjan (3-23), Sanjeev Goswami (35) helped Police Athletic Club beat E.Rly.Sports Association by 7 wickets. E.Rly.Sports Association scored 81/9. Police Athletic Club scored 85/3.
Rohit Paul (82), Rahul Yadav (79), Abhiprai Biswas (69) helped Shibpur Institute post 399/8 at stumps. For Tollygunge Agragami, Surveer Chandra bagged 5 for 123.
