North 24-PGS DSA crowned champions
of Inter District U-14 Girl’s meet

Riding on a brilliant all-round performance, North 24-PGS DSA outclassed Howrah DSA by 6 runs in the final clash to emerge champions of Inter District Under-14 Girl’s One-Day tournament in Murshidabad on Saturday.
Titli Mondal (4-24) was awarded the player of the match for her brilliant bowling.
Opting to bat, North 24-PGS DSA scored 130/7 in 35 overs. Radhika Kumari (38) and Napisa Yasmin (21 not out) were impressive with the bat.
For Howrah DSA, Asmita Mahato and Prasannata Pati bagged 2 wickets each.
In reply, despite a fighting 73 by Sneha Mahato, Howrah DSA fell short of the target and were bundled out for 124 in 33.5 overs.
Soumi Roy (3-26), Eshita Malakar (1-15) and Radhika Kumari (1-28) were superb with the ball for North 24-PGS DSA.
