In the Inter District Under-14 Girl’s One-Day league-cum-knockout tournament on Sunday, both the batters and bowlers impressed.
In the first match, Aratrika Kundu (78), Asma Khatoon (4-32) helped Birbhum DSA beat Coochbehar DSA by 74 runs. Birbhum DSA scored 180/9. Coochbehar DSA scored 106/5. Ritu Barua scored 50. Srijeeta Bidyananda bagged 2 wickets.
In other matches, Ritushree Pal (4-6), Shuvangi Mukherjee (2-8), Saanvi Sinha (23) helped Burdwan DSA beat Combined District U14 Girls by 6 wickets. Combined District U14 Girls scored just 60. Burdwan DSA scored 61/4.
Debosmita (35, 2-21), Ritu Gayen (3-12), Adrita Mandal (2-6) helped South 24 PGS DSA beat Chandernagore SA by 53 runs. South 24 PGS DSA scored 135. Chandernagore SA scored just 82.
