Shubhrajit (127), Noman (6-70), Sunil (6-84) impress in First Div League two-day meet

In the CAB First Division League Group C two-day encounters on Wednesday, both the batters and bowlers dominated on Day 2.
In the first match, Shubhrajit Das scored a brilliant match-winning unbeaten 127 while Raju Halder bagged an impressive 5 for 86 as Netaji Subhas Institute beat YMCA (College Branch) by 6 wickets. YMCA (College Branch) scored 237. In reply, Netaji Subhas Institute scored 240/4. Shivam Dixit bagged 3 wickets.
In other matches, Noman Manzoor (6-70), Shivam Roy (3-54), Milind Mandal (138) helped Calcutta Police Club beat Anandabazar Patrika Sports Club by 4 runs. Calcutta Police Club posted 276. In reply, Anandabazar Patrika Sports Club scored 272. Somen Chakraborty (97) and Swagato Gangopadhyay (77) impressed.
Sunil Dalal (6-84), Rahul Kundu (191 not out) helped Dalhousie Athletic Club beat Uttarpalli Milan Sangha by 150 runs. Dalhousie Athletic Club posted 373. In reply, Uttarpalli Milan Sangha scored 223, thanks to Saurabh Tripathi (63).
Amit Singh (67 not out), Punit Yadav (34), Ronak Agarwal (21) helped Indian Boys Athletic Club beat BNR Recreation Club by 2 wickets. BNR Recreation Club posted 240. In reply, Indian Boys Athletic Club scored 241/8. Anirban Gupta bagged 5 for 70.
Shivamm Bharati (4-63), Masroor Haider Khan (3-47) helped Shambazar Club beat Sporting Union by 139 runs. Shambazar Club posted 314/9. In reply, Sporting Union scored 175.
