Rahul (191), Milind (138), Jitender (8-101), Vishal (7-71) star in First Div League two-day meet

In the CAB First Division League Group C two-day encounters on Tuesday, both the bowlers and batters dominated on Day 1, displaying some outstanding performances.
In the first match, Rahul Kundu scored a brilliant unbeaten 191 off 163 balls as Dalhousie Athletic Club posted 373 at stumps. For Uttarpalli Milan Sangha, Saumya Pakray (5-87) was impressive with the ball.
In other matches, Milind Mandal scored a fine 138 as Calcutta Police Club posted 276. Anandabazar Patrika Sports Club’s Jitender Shaw bagged an impressive 8 for 101. In reply, Anandabazar Patrika Sports Club were 11/1 at stumps.
Vishal Kr Roy (7-71), Akshay Saini (66), Arjun Kumar (3-16) helped Rajasthan Club beat Monohar Pukur Milan Samity by 5 wickets. Monohar Pukur Milan Samity posted 109. In reply, Rajasthan Club scored 112/5.
Raju Halder bagged an impressive 5 for 86 as Netaji Subhas Institute bowled out YMCA (College Branch) for 237. Adhiraj Johri top-scored with a fine 44. In reply, Netaji Subhas Institute were 74/2 at stumps. Shivam Dixit bagged 2 wickets.
Swapnadeep Dey (95), Aditya Varma (67), Avinash Yadav (39) helped Shambazar Club post 314/9. Kushal Gupta bagged 5 for 114. In reply, Sporting Union were 9/1 at stumps.
Abhijeet Bhagat (79), Vaibhav Pandey (56), Arin Roy (45) helped BNR Recreation Club post 240. Amitabh Kahar (4-65), Ojeshv Tyagi (3-63), Biplab Roy Chowdhury (3-36) impressed. In reply, Indian Boys Athletic Club were 83/6 at stumps. Mayank Jha scored 36. Anirban Gupta bagged 4 for 14.
