In the CAB Second Division League two-day encounters on Sunday, both the bowlers and batters impressed.
In the first match, Narkeldanga Sir Gooroodas Institute beat Calcutta Rangers by 9 wickets. Calcutta Rangers posted 231. In reply, Narkeldanga Sir Gooroodas Institute posted 232/1, thanks to Bivanshu (143).
In other matches, Mauri Sporting Club beat WB Association of the Deaf by 266 runs. Kamalesh Adak (158 not out) and Sayan Parui (107 not out) helped Mauri Sporting Club post 414/4. WB Association of the Deaf scored just 148. Indrajeet Singh bagged 4 wickets while Ishan Khatri claimed 3.
Ariadaha Sporting Club beat Bani Niketan Sports Club by 215 runs. Ariadaha Sporting Club posted 332. Bani Niketan Sports Club scored 117. Harihar Sarkar bagged 4 wickets.
Amateur Cricket Club beat Albert Sporting Club by 52 runs. Amateur Cricket Club posted 359/8. Albert Sporting Club scored 307. Devakinandan Ray scored 65. Sachin Yadav and Abhishek Kumar bagged 3 wickets each.
