(105) impress in First Div League two-day meet

In the CAB First Division League two-day encounters on Thursday, the bowlers dominated the batters on Day 2.
In the first match, Preetam Biswas (5-32), Suman Das (3-59) helped BNR Recreation Club beat Uttarpalli Milan Sangha by 158 runs. BNR Recreation Club posted 298, thanks to Arin Roy (68). In reply, Uttarpalli Milan Sangha scored 140.
In other matches, Debangshu Pakhira (5-38), Jitender Shaw (4-49) and Somen Chakraborty (40) helped Ananda Bazar Patrika Sports Club beat Shambazar Club by 2 wickets. Shambazar Club scored 160. In reply, Ananda Bazar Patrika Sports Club scored 164/8. Avinash Yadav bagged 3 wickets.
Jayveer (168), Kushal Gupta (5-76), Ankit Kumar (3-58, 68) helped Sporting Union beat Dalhousie Athletic Club by 115 runs. Sporting Union posted 371. In reply, despite a fine 105 by Sunil Dalal, Dalhousie Athletic Club fell short scoring 256. Sunil also bagged 5 wickets.
Sagar Sharma (139), Rahul (84, 4-53) helped Calcutta Port Trust Sports Club beat Calcutta Police Club by 124 runs. Calcutta Port Trust Sports Club scored 396/7. In reply, Calcutta Police Club scored 272, thanks to Fahim Naaz (75) and Pappu Singh (69).
