Shakir Habib hits 163 as Bhowanipur bag

In the CAB First Division Super League Group A encounter on Tuesday, Bhowanipur Club bagged first innings lead after their match against East Bengal Club ended in a draw.
Shakir Habib Gandhi (163 not out), Jayojit Basu (115), Pradipta Pramanik (65) and Arindam Ghosh (53) batted superbly as Bhowanipur Club posted 472/6 in their first innings.
Earlier, Satyaki Dutta (128), Akash Ghatak (108) and Writtick Chatterjee (69) helped East Bengal Club post 461/9 in their first innings.
East Bengal, in their second innings, were 158/3 decl at stumps on the third and final day. Abhishek Das (72) and Satyaki (65) impressed.
