Amit (109, 5-55), Dipanshu (125), Sourav (6-56), Partha (5-46) star in 2nd Div League

In the CAB Second Division League two-day league encounters on Sunday, both the batters and bowlers impressed.
In the first match, Amit Biswas bagged an impressive 5 for 55 followed by smashing a match-winning 109 off 95 as Suburban Club beat Wari Athletic Club by 5 wickets. Monomit Mitra bagged three wickets. Wari Athletic Club scored 211. Suburban Club scored 214/5.
In other matches, Dipanshu Upadhyay scored a brilliant 125 off 133 while Aayan Ibrahim (56) also impressed as Friends Athletic Club scored 325. For Mauri Sporting Club, Arghyaa Ghosh bagged 3 for 40.
Sourav Poddar (6-56), Sayan Mondal (4-68) helped Bantra Cricket Club bowled out WB Association of the Deaf for 183. Ansh Sinha scored 65. In reply, Bantra Cricket Club were 62/3 at stumps.
Partha Kundu (5-46), Animesh Adhikari (3-30), Raheel Ghorai (56), Sk Salman (45) helped Narkeldanga Sir Gooroodas Institute beat Cossipore Club by 6 wickets. Batting first, Cossipore Club scored 189. In reply, Narkeldanga Sir Gooroodas Institute scored 190/4.
Akash Agrahari (57), Agastya Shukla (54) helped Alipore Sporting Club post 239. Rohit Sen bagged 4 for 55. In reply, Ballygunge Sporting Association scored 29/1 at stumps.
Akash Yadav (52), Rajesh (48) and Nabajyoti Basu (45) helped Excelsiors Club post 275. Debasish Karmakar bagged 3 for 73. In reply, Central Calcutta Sporting Club scored 106/2 at stumps. Ranjit Show scored 51 not out.
Afnan Molla (4-66) helped Bata Sports Club bowl out Calcutta Rangers for 190. Imam Ul Haque scored 46. In reply, Bata Sports Club scored 53/1 at stumps. Haris Khan scored 33 not out.
