Gutsy ton and fierce bowling: Advantage for Bengal
2nd November 2017
Bengal skipper, Manoj Tiwary, celebrated his homecoming with a well-orchastrated ton showing a purple touch in the current season as well.
Later, the skipper talked to the media and said, ''I am satisfied with the centuty. It has always been pleasure to contribute for your team. Everytime I bat, I want to score a big one. Today, I had the time to pile a big one. It would have been great if I could convert the ton into a big one. But this is how the game of cricket goes on. At the end of the day I'm very happy.''
As the skipper provided a perfect stage for bowlers to capitalise, the Bengal speed-star, Mohammed Shami, did not dissapoint his skipper by rattling the Himachal Pradesh innings, claiming the wickets of set Priyanshu Khanduri and Paras Dogra towards the end of the day, clocking 145kmph.
The Bengal bowling ace said, '' We are happy with the bowling performance. We've the momenteum with us and want to all-out the Himachal Pradesh as soon as possible tommorow.''
