Nitin Menon conducts BCCI Umpires test at CAB

6th February 2025
India’s ICC elite panel umpire Nitin Menon conducted a series of exams at the Eden Gardens on Thursday that aspiring cricket umpires in India must pass to become a member of the BCCI umpires.
Among the 41 participants for the elimination test, which also includes three women, four will be selected for the next round of tests.
The participants below aged 45 were eligible for the examination.
Bringing on board ICC elite panel umpire Menon for the examination, for the very first time, has been made possible thanks to the immense support provided by CAB President Snehasish Ganguly.
This initiative was taken by CAB Umpires Committee, led by Chairman Prosenjit Banerjee. Also present for the occasion were CAB Observers Committee Chairman Srimanta Kumar Mallick and CAB Umpires Committee members Supriyo Sarkar and Dr Sudip Banerjee.
