Sudip (106), Sambit (75) impress in First Division League

In the CAB First Division Super League Group A encounter on Thursday, Md. Sporting Club bagged first innings lead after their match against Bhowanipur Club ended in a draw.
Sudip Chatterjee smashed a brilliant 106 while Sambit Roy (75), Gitimoy Basu (59) and Chinmay Jain (52) batted superbly as Md. Sporting Club posted 471/6 in their first innings. Anubhav Tyagi bagged 2 for 59.
Earlier, Arindam Ghosh (83), Prinann Dutta (62) helped Bhowanipur Club post 307 in their first innings. For Md. Sporting Club, Sk Aysanul Hoque bagged 5 for 37.
Bhowanipur Club, in their second innings, were 113/1 at stumps on the third and final day. Shakir Habib Gandhi (53 not out) and Abhishek Raman (51 not out) impressed with the bat.
