Amit (7-30), Lukmaan (5-33), Najeebul (5-43) star in 2nd Div League

In the CAB Second Division League two-day league-cum-knockout tournament on Thursday, the bowlers dominated the batters on Day 1.
In the first match, Amit Banerjee (7-30), Sanjit Sardar (74 not out), Ishan Mali (52 not out) helped Cricket Club of Bhowanipur beat Greer Sporting Club by 10 wickets.
In other matches, Lukmaan Ansari (5-33), Ankon Aich (66 not out), Ranjit Pal (54 not out) helped Star Sporting Club beat High Court Club by 10 wickets. Rangan Roy scored 79.
Najeebul Khan (5-43) was superb with the ball as Howrah Union bowled out Amateur Cricket Club for 151. In reply, Howrah Union were 137/7 at stumps. Adreet Das bagged 4 for 19.
Debanjan Datta (4-8, 20), Aniruddha Aich (4-10) helped Bani Niketan Sports Club beat Abasar by 5 wickets.
Sayantan Mahapatra (4-49), Md Faisal Hussain Khan (51 not out), Sk Sahil Murad Hossain (36 not out off 15) helped Victoria Sporting Club beat Satya Sandhi by 8 wickets.
Abhijoy Saha (78) helped Baranagar Sporting Club post 248. Arjun bagged 5 for 69. In reply, Salkia Friends Association were 23/1 at stumps.
Sanjeev Kumar (75) helped City AC post 224. Ankit Yadav bagged 2 for 46. In reply, South Suburban Club were 11/3 at stumps.
Lagan Kapoor (52 not out) helped Sarat Samity post 233. Friends Sporting Union’s Rohit Das bagged 4 for 69.
