Abir (133), Amar (8-58), Shalabh (100) impress in 1st Div League Two-Day meet

In the CAB First Division League Group B & C two-day league-cum-knockout tournament on Thursday, the bowlers dominated the batters on Day 1.
In the first match, Abir Chatterjee (133) helped Ballygunge United Club post 326. Dakshin Kalikata Sansad’s Anoop Prasad (4-55) and Sonu Himanshu (3-93) impressed with the ball.
In other matches, Amar Chaudhury (8-58) was superb with the ball while Vinayakan Nair (54 not out) also impressed as Bhukailash Sporting Club beat Tollygunge Agragami by 6 wickets.
Shalabh Shrivastava (100), Ayush (96) helped Belgachia United Club post 430/7. Kumartuli Institute’s Pawan bagged 3 for 90.
Saiket Das (3-27), Amit Kumar (41 not out), Swapnil Choudhary (3-31) helped E.Rly.Sports Association beat Shibpur Institute by 7 wickets. Shibpur Institute scored 131. In reply, E.Rly.Sports Association scored 135/3.
Saikat Hansda (4-17), Aniket Biswas (35), Shivansh Chaudhary (3-39) helped Aikya Sammilani beat Police Athletic Club by 7 wickets. Police Athletic Club scored 107. In reply, Aikya Sammilani scored 109/3.
Sayan Mukherjee (62), Viraj Krishna (53) helped Aryan Club post 351/9. Paikpara Sporting Club’s Saurabh Singh and Sudhanshu Verma bagged three wickets each.
