In the CAB Second Division League two-day league-cum-knockout tournament on Tuesday, both the batters and bowlers dominated on Day 2.
In the first match, Mithun Dutta (206 not out), Sk Md Sharukh (88), Joydeep Roy (72) batted superbly as Cricket Club of Dhakuria beat Howrah Sporting Club by 3 wickets. Howrah Sporting Club posted 467/8. Sayan Das bagged 5 for 107. In reply, Cricket Club of Dhakuria scored 473/7. Trinanjan Mondal bagged three wickets.
In other matches, Amit Biswas (116), Monomit Mitra (6-123) helped Suburban Club beat Jorabagan Club by 2 wickets. Jorabagan Club posted 265/9. In reply, Suburban Club scored 269/8. Subhadip Bhattacharya bagged 4 wickets.
